About the Author

Mark Fidler lives in Waltham, Massachusetts with his wife and three sons. He has written four children’s novels with a sports theme. Since graduating from Dartmouth College, he has taught high school mathematics and computer science. He has been teaching more than 20 years at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge.

Besides teaching and writing, Mark has enjoyed coaching and playing a variety of sports. He has coached both Little League baseball and youth hockey in Waltham, and has coached girls hockey at BB&N. He is a Scrabble enthusiast, and is an avid tournament player and a nationally ranked expert. He also enjoys reading, movies and photography.
